SkyGreece Announces Flights from Canada to Athens and Thessaloniki

SkyGreece Airlines will offer year round service from Toronto, Canada, to Athens and a seasonal direct flight to Thessaloniki as of May 2015.
According to an announcement, SkyGreece will offer three weekly flights from Toronto to Athens as of May 17 and a weekly departure to Thessaloniki starting May 20. And the beat goes on with two weekly flights to Athens from November to April 2016.
“We have listened to the continuous demand of the Greek community in Canada and in Greece and decided to develop our flight schedule to meet the demand,” the announcement read.
SkyGreece will also offer a weekly departure from Montreal starting May 23.
Founded in September 2012 by Peter Chilakos, Nicholas Alexandris and Bill Alefantis – all of whom are Canadians of Greek origin – the airline also plans to offer flights between Athens and New York.
