Passengers on the Salamis Filoxenia included a production team from the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (PIK). The team filmed different parts of the island for an upcoming episode of a new travel show dedicated to Greek destinations.

According to an announcement, the episode dedicated to Ikaria will promote the island’s historical attractions and special cuisine. Another shooting will be scheduled to take place next month.

Also on the cruise were some 80 people from Cyprus’ Channel 6.

The Salamis Filoxenia is owned by the Cyprus-based Salamis Cruises.
