Creta Maris In Greece Receives Gold Certification From TraveLife

After intensive auditing, the Creta Maris Beach Resort in Hersonissos, Crete, has been honored with the Travelife Gold certification and is included among its peers within the Travelife Collection.

Gold 2Travelife is an international certification scheme for hotels and accommodations that helps them improve how they manage their environmental and social impacts, such as the way their energy or water consumption, or how they implement a corporate social responsibility towards employees and the local community in which they operate.

Hotels that wish to take part in this process are independently audited and classified according to their performance. Top performers are rewarded with a Travelife logo.

On the occasion of the awarding, the Creta Maris Beach Resort organized a clean-up of the hotel’s exterior with the participation of staff and guests.

Creta Maris Beach Resort is owned by Metaxas Group of Companies and has been operating since 1975. It has a capacity of 680 rooms, suites and bungalows, six restaurants, seven bars, seven swimming pools, a gym, spa, children’s club and many places for outdoor and indoor activities for children and adults.
