ANEK Lines To Hold Floating Summer Art Shows For Children In Need

ANEK_LINES_ELYROSanek_posterANEK Lines is aiming for “more colors for more smiles for the children” this summer through its cooperation with the Hatzikonsta Foundation and the team of volunteers Painters in Action.

Over 420 creative art pieces will be exhibited onboard the ferry company’s ships Elyros and Olympic Champion. The art collections will include summer creations such as jewelry, handicrafts and paintings. All items will be for sale with prices starting as low as 1 euro.

All proceeds of sales will go directly to the actions of the Hatzikonsta Foundation, the oldest welfare organization for children in Greece that was founded over 150 years ago.

The foundation’s sole aim is to offer care and hope to children aged 6-18 years, who have financial need and face social difficulties. It runs homes for children and offers free accommodation, meals, health care, education, extracurricular activities & entertainment, clothing and footwear.
