Sofitel Athens Airport recently received the “Accessibility Pass,” which verifies the hotel’s capability to cater for individuals with accessibility needs.

“Accessibility Pass” is a global certification scheme that classifies hotels’ and conference centers’ accessibility level, based on their infrastructure, services and personnel skills.

Sofitel Athens Airport is certified to cater to guests that have motor, visual and cognitive disabilities.

Due to its location near Athens International Airport, the Sofitel hotel is one of the first points of entry of international tourists in Greece.

“Due to our location and proximity to the International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, we have a responsibility to worthily represent Greek hospitality without discrimination of any kind and in particular without prejudice,” said Cyril Manguso, General Manager of Sofitel Athens Airport.

The “Accessibility Pass” ranking of hotels for their infrastructure and services is carried out based on objective on-site audit findings, recorded by authorized auditors.
