2014 FIFA World Cup: The Game Is On At The Golden Hall In Athens!

The Golden Hall shopping center in Athens has announced special events for the whole family that are scheduled to take place from 16 June to 12 July on the occasion of the World Cup FIFA 2014.

For starters, the Golden Hall courtyard will be home to a 5X5 soccer field to host games of teams and schools taking part in the “Golden Hall mini soccer Cup” event.

Apart from scheduled games, children can take part in the interactive “goal post” game and show off their skills to an audience seated in a specially designed stand. Also, persons of all ages can get photographed with cardboard cut-out versions of the players of the Greek national football team in the specially designed “Photo Opportunity stage.”

Inside the mall, an 85-inch screen with 4K Ultra HD will retransmit the best parts of the FIFA 2014 World Cup games of the day.

Also, a FIFA Playstation Tournament – set up in a specially designed space with 16 consoles PS3- will also be running for the virtual sport types. The best players will win big prizes!

Foosball tables (table-soccer) will be available for the more “traditional” soccer fans.

But that’s not all! Creative children from 2 to 10 years old can show off their artistic talents at the “Kids Arts & Crafts” soccer workshop open every Friday and Saturday.

In addition, World Cup fans will have the opportunity to win authentic soccer balls of the Greek National team through contests at the specially designed Adidas photobooth.
