Novotel Athenes Receives “Accessibility Pass” Hotel Certification

NovotelNovotel Athenes has announced that it recently received the “Accessibility Pass” and is now certified for its accessible hotel services to individuals with visual, hearing and cognitive accessibility needs.

ACCESSIBILITY PASSThe Accessibility Pass aims to help people with accessibility needs find a hotel or conference center that can accommodate their specific needs, making their overall hospitality experience a simple and friendly one. It is a global certification scheme that classifies hotels’ and conference centers’ accessibility level, based on their infrastructure, services and personnel skills.

Furthermore, executives and employees of Novotel Athenes attended an official Accessibility Pass training course on how to offer services to guests with accessibility needs and are now certified with Accessibility Certifications for Professionals.

“They are well-prepared to cater for guests with accessibility needs and cope with critical situations and emergencies arising in relation to various types of needs,” an announcement by Novotel Athenes read.

The certification of hotel and their human resources departments was conducted by PEOPLECERT.
