Greek Travel Company “Mideast” Receives Double Nomination At World Travel Awards

Mideast has been nominated for “Greece’s Leading Destination Management Company 2014” and “Europe’s Leading Destination Management Company 2014” in this year’s World Travel Awards, also known as the “Oscars of the travel industry.”

Launched in 1993 and held for the first time this year in Athens, Greece, the World Travel Awards acknowledge and reward outstanding achievements in all areas of the global travel industry. The award ceremony will take place on 2 August 2014.

This is the second year in a row Mideast is a nominee for the “Oscars” of the travel world.

“World Travel Awards is an internationally renowned institution that distinguishes the best in the travel sector worldwide. Winning such an award, in our home country, will be for us the greatest honor,” Mideast Owner and Managing Director, Katerina Mousbeh, said.

Nominees are voted for by thousands of professionals in travel and tourism organizations worldwide. The awards are among the most sought after in the industry and a nomination or win is widely acknowledged to be one of the strongest votes of confidence a travel organization could receive.
