Parnassos Ski Center To Upgrade Lifts

As of 1 April, the lifts of the Parnassos Ski Center will undergo a 29.52 million euros renovation.

The lifts at the Kelaria site will be upgraded first. The site will be closed from 31 March until 30 November, before the next ski season.

During April and until the end of the ski season (15 April) the Fterolaka site will be open for skiers.

The Parnassos Ski Center  development plan includes a range of interventions including the renovation and upgrade of existing outdated lifts/facilities.

After Kelaria, renovation works will begin on the ski lifts at the Fterolaka site, which are expected to finish by October 2015.

This is the first extensive plan to improve the ski center’s facilities since it first opened. The NSRF program is funding the project.

The Parnassos Ski Center is Greece’s biggest and best-organized and located in the Sterea Ellada region.
