Top executives from American TV station Travel Channel recently visited the regional governor of Attica, Yiannis Sgouros, and discussed expanding their existing cooperation with the region.
The cooperation of the Region of Attica and Travel Channel is part of the region’s tourism promotional campaign to markets abroad.
“Greatest live of your life” campaign
The region’s tourism product consists of elements such as culture, gastronomy, luxury vacation, shopping, nightlife, sea & sun, sailing and congress tourism. These elements contribute to the central message of the Attica region’s campaign “The greatest live of your life.”
During the meeting with Mr. Sgouros, Travel Channels’ Andrew Grieve (VP advertising sales UK / EMEA) and Nitu Kamboj (international senior sales executive), were also informed that tourism in Athens and Attica is getting ready for 2014 with a positive outlook, following its recovery last year.
According to Mr. Sgouros, the Region of Attica has “entered” some 25 million households worldwide through the cooperation with Travel Channel.
