Greek Tourism Minister Leaves For Saudi Arabia On Official Visit
Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni departed for Saudi Arabia on Sunday, 9 February, under the country’s development plan for tourism that includes opening up Greece to new markets.
During her stay, the tourism minister will meet with representatives of the Saudi Arabian Government, organizations related to tourism and tourism professionals. Mrs. Kefalogianni aims to strengthen Greece’s ties with Saudi Arabia and launch a cooperation for mutual benefit.
The tourism minister will also make an effort to boost foreign investment in tourism and other sectors during meetings with the country’s stakeholders and representatives of private enterprises.
She will also refer to opportunities that are available due to the rise of Greece’s tourism sector and the country’s expansion towards special forms of tourism.
