Health Tourism Integration Conference To Be Held In Athens, Greece

Greek professionals from eight health tourism segments (ht8) will come together with sector-supporting industries in the upcoming Greek Health Tourism Integration Conference, scheduled to take place 22-23 February 2014 in Athens.

The conference will be held by healthCare cybernetics and Professional Conference Organizer Zita Congress.

Health tourism’s eight segments (ht8)

The Greek Health Tourism Integration Conference will focus on health tourism in Greece through the valuable insight of selected speakers from the eight tourism segments related to health: Medical Tourism, Dental Tourism, Spa Tourism (Thalassotherapy), Wellness Tourism, Sports Tourism, Culinary Tourism (in the context of healthy cuisine), Accessible Tourism and Assisted Residential Tourism (Ambient Assisted Living Abroad – or Retirement Housing and Care Abroad).

According to the organizers, Health Tourism involves services that fall under 8 Segments or groupings (hence ht8) and can create a broader industry to address a wider market.

“With the ht8 approach to health tourism integration, development and promotion, every tourist becomes a potential health tourist,” the organizers said.

The speakers to attend the conference are internationally recognized thought leaders, practitioners and “deep insiders” in the field of health tourism.

Conference participants will be addressed by leading figures that have contributed to the development and promotion of successful Health Tourism Destinations, Services and Practices. The conference program will address the issues of further development and promotion of health tourism at destination and enterprise levels.

The fundamental aim of the conference is to:

The Greek Health Tourism Integration Conference will take place at the Royal Olympic Hotel.
