Guests and visitors at the Sofitel Athens Airport these days are invited to take a journey through taste, a few thousand kilometers away, to Marseille, the city that was founded in 546 b.C. by Greek colonists from Phocaea.

Marseille is the Cultural Capital of Europe 2013 and in honor of the city, Sofitel Athens Airport is hosting a culinary week to introduce its exquisite cuisine to Athenians. The gastronomy of Marseille is considered one of the best in Europe.

Until Friday 22 November, Julien Maury, chef of the Sofitel Marseille, will be creating dishes such as Aioli, la Navette de Marseille, le daube Provençale, la soupe au pistou et coquillage and of course the legendary Bouillabaisse.

The culinary week is held at the hotel’s restaurant Karavi.
