Greek OTE Offers Free Internet Access At Athens Airport
A specially designed sitting area that provides free use of the Internet and sports entertainment recently opened to the public in a central space in the departures area of Athens International Airport.
The new sitting area was launched by the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE) in a space of 85 square meters.
In the OTE Sitting Area, passengers and guests to the airport can now surf the Internet at no charge with VDSL speed up to 50Mbps by using one of the six available tablets.
In addition, OTESport 1 (from OTE TV’s sports channel that transmits exclusive content from top international games) will also be offered for high definition viewing, free of charge.
Travelers visiting the OTE Sitting Area will also find mobile phone chargers and power supplies to charge their cell phone, laptop or tablet before traveling.
OTE has opened the sitting area to introduce its new and advanced services to passengers of flights at Athens Airport at no cost.
