Sofitel Holds Cooking Competition
Sofitel Athens Airport recently held a cooking competition at the hotel within the framework of the 3rd Festival of French Gastronomy that is taking place in Athens.
The chefs that won the competition are Theodoros Ypsilos with the dish Lentils from bouillabaisse with saffron marinated sea-bream bass, compote fennel with leek, cauliflower puree, baby vegetables and bouillabaisse sauce and Alexis Karapiperis with the dessert Cream coconut passion on a crispy oatmeal base with coconut foam and caramel.
The jury consisted of renowned French chefs Jean-Marie Hoffman, Olivier Campanha, Jean-Louis Kapsalas, Luc Grégoire, Jean-Charles Metayer, and Dominique Perrot.
The 3rd Festival of French Gastronomy is taking place in Athens until 21 June.
