Greek Islands To “Star” In German TV Productions
Greece’s sun, sea, beaches and landscapes will be promoted this summer through two German TV productions, according to the Greek National Tourism Organization office in Frankfurt.
German TV station RTL 2 has chosen Rhodes to shoot the 15-episode television series “Holidate,” scheduled to broadcast in Germany this August and September.
Some 100 people, members of the TV crew and young German couples, will be on Rhodes for three weeks this June for the shooting of the series.
Through the series, Rhodes will be showcased as an ideal tourism destination for young people.
Mykonos, Paros and Crete
Also, the attractions, best beaches, exquisite cuisine and unlimited possibilities for relaxation and fun of Mykonos, Paros and Crete will be shown to German viewers through 10 one-hour specials, scheduled to broadcast from 29 July to 9 August.
The specials are a production of German TV station Pro7Sat1 and filming will take place 5-19 July.
