Greece Seeks To Attract More Japanese Tourists
Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni departed yesterday, Saturday, 9 March, for an official visit to Tokyo to strengthen the tourism cooperation between Greece and Japan.
The tourism minister’s trip to Japan is within the framework of her effort to open Greece to distant markets.
On Tuesday 12 March, Mrs. Kefalogianni will meet with Japan’s Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Minoru Kiuchi and Senior Vice-Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Yosuke Tsuruho.
The tourism minister will also hold meetings with tour operators and give interviews to major TV stations and newspapers aiming to attract more arrivals from Japan to Greece.
