The 8th International Hotel, Restaurant and Cafe Show HO.RE.CA. successfully closed last week, achieving great unprecedented success as it has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over Greece and abroad who flooded the Metropolitan Expo Center during all four days of the organization.
During 8-11 February, 468 exhibitors from the supply market of the tourism and food service industries presented their products and services to over 120.000 professional visitors from 36.000 companies of the sector.
“All this at an unbelievable for the Greek reality expo organization,” the organizers of HO.RE.CA. said in an announcement.
HO.RE.CA. went against Greece’s difficult economic climate this year and thanks to a well-coordinated advertising campaign and its reputation, acquired throughout the years, it closed as the biggest trade fair for the hospitality and food service industries ever held in Greece.
The numerous and well-targeted parallel events (Greek Breakfast initiative, 2nd General Assembly of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, SETE’s “Gastrotourism: Food for development” event, Tourism Forum for Chambers, Presentation of Athens WACS Congress, 6th International Gastronomy Forum, 1st HO.RE.CA. Bartending Show, etc.), the high level of exhibitors and their stands and the many trade agreements contracted during the exhibition, proved that HO.RE.CA. is an extremely significant forum for the entire hospitality and food service industries.
