Air Canada’s international low-cost carrier, rouge, will launch flights to Athens from Toronto and Montreal as of July 2013.
Air Canada rouge will serve 13 destinations across Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America with a fleet of 142-seater Airbus A319 and 264-seater Boeing 767 aircraft.
From Toronto rouge will fly four times a week to Athens while an additional service will be offered from Montreal to Athens three times a week.
The service of Air Canada’s “rouge” to Athens comes as multiple as other carriers are adding international routes to the Greek capital. Qatar Airways recently announced its service to New York and new Greek-Canadian airline SkyGreece said it would launch flights to Athens from Montreal and Toronto in 2013.
