“Greek Breakfast” Goes To Lesvos
The Lesvos Hoteliers Association invites local entrepreneurs to attend the “Greek Breakfast of Lesvos” event scheduled for today, Sunday, 30 December, at the Chamber of Lesvos.
The presentation will be held within the framework of the local quality pact for Greek Breakfast the association has drawn up with the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and relevant parties.
The event will include a presentation of the “Greek Breakfast of Lesvos” menu and an exhibition of the local products that comprise it at the chamber’s exhibition center, 10am-9pm.
In addition, a workshop in regards to the “Greek Breakfast Lesvos local quality pact” will be held at the chamber’s convention center, 1pm-3pm. The supervisor of “Greek Breakfast” program and member of the Board of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, Yiorgos Pittas, will be the keynote speaker.
The event is scheduled within the framework of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels’ Greek Breakfast program – an ambitious initiative to establish a breakfast menu in all hotels of the country through the exclusive use of local Greek products and each destination’s cuisine.
Greek Breakfast of Magnesia
The event on Lesvos follows the presentation of the “Greek Breakfast of Magnesia,” recently held at Domotel Xenia Volou hotel in Volos by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and the Hotel Owners Association of Magnesia.
All hoteliers-members of the association attended the event and were informed about the importance of incorporating “Greek Breakfast” in their businesses.
The event was accompanied by a series of parallel activities, such as the presentation of local products that can be used in the Greek Breakfast menu, such as jams, honey, sweets, traditional pies, raisin bread, apple pie, oil pie, spinach pie, cinnamon and orange biscuits, honey with nuts, Pelion sausages, chestnuts, olive oil, apples and a wide variety of local produce, fruits and delicacies.
