Greece Teams Up With ATOUT FRANCE
Greece will receive know-how from France in regards to tourism issues, according to a cooperation protocol signed in Paris on Tuesday, 18 December, between Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni and the general manager of the French Tourism and Development Agency ATOUT FRANCE, Christian Mantei.
The cooperation protocol is hoped to lead to an extensive cooperation between the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and ATOUT FRANCE.
During a meeting, the two sides focused on the systematic exchange of tourism know-how between Greece and France and discussed possible joint initiatives aimed towards the quality improvement of tourism services.
Also, the tourism minister and Mr. Mantei referred to possible collaborations to develop new forms of tourism, as well as a gradual launch of joint actions to increase visitors in both countries.
ATOUT FRANCE has prepared several studies on the development of French tourism and is considered a valuable ally by the Greek Tourism Ministry.
The ministry believes the French agency’s experience in tourism development will be very useful for Greece and will come to fill in the ministry’s actions that are already in progress to establish a multifaceted upgrade of Greek tourism.
