Peloponnese “Myths, Flavors and Poems” In Downtown Athens
The Peloponnese region is offering Greeks and visitors in Athens the opportunity to sample some of its finest products at the Exhibition of Traditional Peloponnese Culture-Tourism Products “Myths, Flavors & Poems” that is in full swing at Klathmonos Square in downtown Athens.
The exhibition is organized by the Peloponnese region in cooperation with the chambers of Arcadia, Argolida, Achaia, Helia, Corinthia, Laconia and Messinia.

“Our presence here means determination and it is a comprehensive plan for how Greece can address today’s significant problem,” Peloponnese Prefect Petros Tatoulis (center) said during a presentation of the exhibition prior to the launch.
According to the region’s prefect, Petros Tatoulis, the exhibition is an attempt to unite the producers of the Peloponnese Region and develop and strengthen the local economy through actions that highlight the comparative advantages of the region.
Apart from the products of the Peloponnesian diet -a key characteristic of the Mediterranean diet- the exhibition also promotes the tourism and cultural product of the Peloponnese.
The exhibition launched yesterday at Klathmonos Square in downtown Athens and will be open until Sunday, 16 December.
