Athens, Greece, welcomed the luxurious Emirates A380 aircraft through one single route at Athens International Airport (AIA) Eleftherios Venizelos on Friday, 26 October.
“Today’s landing of award winning Emirates A380 in Greece is a milestone that reflects the 16 years of continuous service on the Athens-Dubai route. Today’s route of the A380 to AIA comes to give new impetus to tourism and trade relations which Emirates and the United Arab Emirates maintain with Greece and local authorities for many years,” Richard Jewsbury, Emirates senior vice president commercial operations Europe and Russian Federation, said.
