Monaco Introduced To Greek Market

“Monaco is eager to match the expectation of the demanding sophisticated Hellenic visitor,” said Michel Bouquier, president of Monaco’s Tourism and Convention Authority.

“Monaco is eager to match the expectation of the demanding sophisticated Hellenic visitor,” said Michel Bouquier, president of Monaco’s Tourism and Convention Authority.

Although the Greek market represents only one percent of the total number of international guests that reside an average of three nights in Monaco hotels, it is believed that many more Greek travelers would catch the opportunity to come to Monaco in the near future, according to Michel Bouquier, president of the Tourism and Convention Authority for the Principality of Monaco.

The Monaco Government Tourism and Convention Authority came to Athens last month to meet the Greek press and key members of the travel trade.

According to Mr. Bouquier, since the end of the 19th century, Monaco emphasizes on its “strengths,” which are primarily its casino, deluxe hotels and yearlong calendar of events.
