Greece Comes Second in Travel Habits Poll
Italy was voted favorite European country in this year’s Telegraph Travel Awards reader’s survey followed by Greece and Switzerland.
The survey, which revealed favorite destinations and companies for 2007, was carried out among more than 25,000 readers of UK-based Daily and Sunday Telegraph.
According to the survey, 92 percent of readers said that the credit crunch will have no effect on their choice of destination, while 96 percent refused to downgrade their holiday accommodation.
In the top foreign wedding destinations survey, Greece again came in second as Cyprus was voted first place.
