Alitalia Launches New Routes
Alitalia announced it would enhance its connections to Greece through 35 weekly flights from Greece to Rome Fiumicino this summer. Alitalia connects Greece to Rome with 28 weekly flights from Athens and nine weekly flights from Thessaloniki from August 1 to September 14, and connections from Rome to major Italian cities and destinations in Europe, North Africa and North America.
As of June 1, Alitalia flies from Athens to Los Angeles through Rome with five weekly flights conducted with a Boeing 777 (ROM-LAX). Alitalia also announced upgraded services and investments in its business lounges at Fiumicino Airport in Rome and Linate Airport in Milan. Alitalia frequent flyers (“Freccia Alata Plus Club” and “Freccia Alata Club”) can also take advantage of the upgraded services at “Donatello” VIP lounge at Athens International Airport.
