Lindon Village Resort Opens On Rodos
After an investment of some 30 million euros, the new five-star Lindon Village Resort officially opened its doors to the traveling public last month amid a plethora of celebrations. The “third generation” hotel resort is spread over 60 stremma of prime garden property.
Inauguration celebrations included five full minutes of fireworks there were seen throughout the island, and jazz and Latin parties that kept special guests and visitors entertained for an entire May weekend. Events were organized by the hotel’s Mariza Sviriadis, all in close cooperation with communications and public relations consultant Theodoros Varvias.
Besides parties, a varied and excellent cuisine – the resort boasts five gourmet restaurants, Greek, Thai, Fish & Oysters, International, Allday – guests were proudly shown around the resort with its 153 rooms, its 35 suites with private swimming pools, and its 16 junior suites.
Guests that needed body relaxation after dancing all night took advantage of the resort’s Lindon Village Spa for health and beauty therapy. No one took advantage of the spa’s special diet program during the 3-day long weekend party.
All, however, without exception, said they were totally fascinated with the style, decor, architecture and comfort of the resort. Tourism professionals said they were also impressed with the design and equipment of the resort’s 400-delegate conference center.
