Airotel Opens Achaia Beach

Airotel’s Achaia Beach guests are afforded a magical view to the unique Rio-Andirou bridge that joins Peloponessos with Central Greece.
After some two years of radical renovations activity, the Airotel Group of Hotels re-opened its Achaia Beach property, which sits a mere four kilometers from the commercial center and port of Patras. The unit was purchased by Airotel in January of 2001 and was closed the next year in order to undergo a radical overhaul. Linda Duncan, who was the unit’s manager, returns to her previous position.
The four-star unit is somewhat perched high on beach property that affords guests a spectacular view to the sea and to the mountains. For most rooms, guests are afforded a magical view to the unique Rio-Andirou bridge that joins Peloponessos with Central Greece.
Achaia Beach boasts 85 rooms, which include one suite, all with individual climate control, direct telephone system complete with Internet connections, satellite and pay television, a clothes press, safety deposit boxes and a balcony.
The remodeled hotel hosts a restaurant with selected home-style dishes, a luscious garden that surrounds the pool, a fully-equipped gym and sauna and a homey fireplace that welcomes each guest during the winter months.
Conference facilities at the hotel include four conference halls complete with all the up-to-date equipment required.
The halls host anywhere from 10 to 400 people and are ideal for all types of special events. Outside, there are two parking lots to accommodate both guests and visitors.
