A film studio to operate in Thessaloniki, Greece, will be ready to welcome Hollywood productions by 2020, says Central Macedonia Governor Apostolos Tzitzikostas.
Central Macedonia, the South Aegean Region, Attica, Crete and the Ionian Islands account for 84 percent of visits to Greece, according to a survey by INSETE.
The Thessaloniki Hotels Association (THA) is voicing concerns over the need and timing of upgrade works at the city’s Macedonia Airport and of the completion dates.
