The Committee on Tourism of the German Bundestag also held a meeting last month with the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization at the premises of Helexpo in Thessaloniki. During the meeting, the president of the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, Yiannis Boutaris (center), requested the German delegation’s support for the Greek city’s candidacy as European Youth Capital 2014.

German Tourism Committee Visits Athens

Culture and Tourism Minister Pavlos Geroulanos last month welcomed a proposal for Greece to participate in a Greek-German tourism summit in Berlin, Germany, that would give Greece the opportunity to promote tourism investment possibilities.
