SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, in late October launched its inaugural flight to Vientiane and Luang Prabang, Laos. With this launch, SilkAir’s route network now spans 51 destinations in 14 countries.
Singapore Airlines has announced plans to launch a new route linking Jakarta with Sydney and also boost Singapore-Jakarta flight frequency, in an increase of its operations to both Indonesia and Australia.
Ahead of the official launch of Singapore Airlines-owned low-cost carrier Scoot’s flights to Europe next June, the company has announced that it is offering special promotional fares for its flights from Athens.
Singapore Airlines has further enhanced the benefits of its KrisFlyer frequent flyer programme by enabling KrisFlyer miles to be used for purchases on KrisShop.com, the online portal of its inflight retail store.
