Signature Travel Supports W4O Meeting on Combating Obesity, Cancer

Greek travel agency Signature Travel recently assisted with the organization of the scientific meeting of the Women 4 Oncology – Hellas (W4O-Hellas) network.

W4O-Hellas’ meeting, which focused on the topic “Nutrition – Obesity and Cancer” was held last month at the Museum of Cycladic Art at the Stathatos Mansion in Athens.

“We are proud to have supported this meeting which focused on the issues of nutrition, obesity prevention and cancer awareness,” said Signature Travel Director Maria Alifrangi.

The meeting was a collaborative effort of nutritionists and doctors, members of the W4O-Hellas network, to inform on a healthy and antioxidant menu entitled “The… weapons against cancer”, based on relevant scientific reports that refer to the basic principles of the Mediterranean Diet food model.

W4O-Hellas’ meeting was attended by renowned medical representatives, pharmaceutical executives, W4O members and politicians.
