AEGEAN was recognized as Europe’s Leading Regional Airline for its high-quality services at the World Travel Awards 2017.
It is the third time the airline wins the distinction following the public’s vote, which confirms that AEGEAN ranks high in the preferences of travelers worldwide, an announcement said.
“All of us in AEGEAN feel proud that a Greek company was acknowledged as the best among many exceptional international carriers, by passengers traveling to European and other destinations,” said Roland Jaggi, AEGEAN director revenue management, pricing, sales and distribution.

Hailed as the “Oscars of the travel industry”, the World Travel Awards ceremony was held at the Russian Museum of Ethnography in St Petersburg and was attended by senior executives of the global tourism industry.
