Greece’s Archaeological Sites, Museums Change Operating Hours
Greece’s archaeological sites and state museums, operating on extended hours, have – as of September – changed their schedule in order to close by sunset.
According to the Greek Culture Ministry, sites and museums will now be open between 8 am and 7 pm until the end of September. In October they will be operating between 8 am and 6 pm.
The winter schedule is usually applied from October onwards and runs until March 31, 2018.
All state museums and archaeological sites remain closed on December 25 and 26, January 1, March 25 and on National Holidays.
