Pioneering Greeks: Anastasia Astypaliotou, Artion Greek Foods Founder

This week we introduce Anastasia Astypaliotou, founder of the Artion Greek Foods company that was formed to produce and market superior quality Greek products which would have an appeal to modern consumers..

Having worked for years in the food industry, Anastasia decided to create Artion Greek Foods to promote worldwide the authentic food culture of Greece, the wealth of simplicity, the appeal of purity.

The portfolio of Artion Greek Foods consists of two product lines: the premium collection of “Stories of Greek Origins” and the most mainstream and commercial “Artion” line. These products can be found in few selected shops in Greece and abroad, from gourmet food stores to larger food chains.

Anastasia and her team travel all around the country to discover and export the “hidden” gastronomic treasures of the Greek land. They work closely with local small producers, people who love their home country and respect their traditions. They choose only the elite of the Greek production and “dress” their products with a very special and elegant packaging, which promotes not only the product, but also the history of the land which produces it.

The Artion Greek Foods has won 25 international awards in prestigious competitions.

“Our goal is to highlight abroad not only the nutritional culture, but also the credibility and the morality of the Greeks,” Anastasia said.

Inspired by the dynamism and creativity of the Greek entrepreneurial spirit, LoveGreece was founded in 2013 as an initiative to boost and promote the country’s image abroad by profiling talented and successful Greeks. With their ethos and vision, Greece’s entrepreneurs and professionals are an important aspect of the country worth highlighting to the world.
