Celestyal Cruises’ Greek Summer Festival Hosts Popular Artists
As part of its “Greek Summer Festival Stories” initiative, Celestyal Cruises is currently hosting a series of concerts, parties and entertainment events onboard its cruise ships.
Famous Cypriot singer Giorgos Papadopoulos was the Celestyal Olympia’s special guest star on its recent three-day “Iconinc Aegean” cruise to popular Greek destinations, such as Mykonos and Santorini in the Cyclades, Patmos in the Dodecanese, Heraklio on Crete and Kuşadasi in Turkey. Papadopoulos is part of the jury of the Greek “X Factor II” talent show.
During the singer’s onboard performance, cruise passengers were able to meet him in person and enjoy a unique concert.
The event was organized by Celestyal Cruises and Lampsi 92.3 FM radio station.
Live onboard performances
From June to August, Celestyal Cruises’ passengers will have the opportunity to become familiar with Greek music, through performances of popular Greek artists and radio producers, including the composer and traditional bouzouki soloist Thanasis Polykandriotis.
Furthermore, Celestyal has announced the “World Party Cruise”, an event that promises to offer a unique cruise experience and includes science festivals, cocktail parties under the summer full moon, excursions, games and competitions, inspired by the world travels of the popular Sakis Tanimanidis, who hosts the Greek “Survivor” reality competition television franchise.
All of Celestyal’s unique onboard sailing experiences are included in the company’s “Unique Way of Vacations” program, which provides passengers with beneficial cruise packages. These include excursions, full onboard entertainment programs, an unlimited beverages consumption package and the chance to experience Greek wines and delicacies at good prices.
