Cine Titania, the 65-year-old open air movie theater on the Greek island of Spetses recently opened its doors for the summer season under the new management of the Poseidonion Grand Hotel and took residents and visitors on a journey through time on the big screen. The cinema reopened after a year of absence.

The opening ceremony took place on June 3 with the attendance of residents, guests and friends of the Poseidonion Grand Hotel and included live music and delicacies, prepared especially for the occasion by the Poseidonion team.

The ceremony included a special screening of the Greek classic movie, “Tzeni-Tzeni”, which was filmed on Spetses in the 1960s.

With 65 years of history, Cine Titania today includes cutting edge screening equipment, aiming to offer the best visual and acoustic experience. Featuring the latest movie productions, including films for children but also selected classic movies of the European cinema, Cine Titania aims to cover all of the audience’s preferences, Poseidonion said.

The reopening of Cine Titania is part of the Poseidonion Grand Hotel’s new partnerships for this summer season, which have been developed to provide its guests with additional entertainment options and high quality services.
