Crete’s Galaxy Hotel Iraklio to Host Blood Drive

Under the motto “Give blood… Save a Life”, the Galaxy Hotel Iraklio will hold a blood donation drive on Friday, June 16, at its premises in Heraklio, on the island of Crete.

Starting at 9 am and until 1.30 pm, a mobile medical unit of Crete’s Venizelio General Hospital will be available at the hotel’s entrance to facilitate blood donors.

According to an announcement, the initiative is part of the hotel’s social awareness program, which aims to offer to those in need, actively support the local community, encourage citizens to contribute and promote social solidarity.

Galaxy Hotel has informed there will not be a Βlood Βank available nor a patient blood management system. The blood donated will be registered on each individual’s donation card.

Five-star Galaxy Hotel Iraklio includes 127 rooms and suites with a view to the central pool or the city, two gourmet restaurants, a gym and a hammam, state of the art conference facilities and a business center, while it offers high quality services and superior amenities.
