Domotel Ends Cooperation with Les Lazaristes Hotel in Thessaloniki
Domotel Hotels & Resorts, a chain of boutique and lifestyle hotels, has announced that it is terminating its business relationship with the five-star Les Lazaristes Hotel in Thessaloniki.
“After 14 years of successful operation of the five-star hotel Les Lazaristes in Thessaloniki, Domotel Hotels & Resorts announces its departure from this unit and thanks its partners and visitors who have made a decisive contribution to its recognition,” the hotel chain said in an announcement on Friday.
According to reports, the hotel will close on May 22 and reopen most likely in early June under the management of a new hotel operator and under a new name.
Domotel had built Les Lazaristes and operated the hotel under a sale and 10-year leaseback transaction with Hellas Capital, a company that provides financial leasing services for Greek and foreign companies (large and medium-sized) and individuals. The Domotel chain of boutique and lifestyle hotels also operates units in Athens, Volos, Sivota, Kaimaktsalan, Karditsa and Arachova-Delphi.
Reports say that all jobs of Les Lazaristes employees will be maintained under the hotel’s new operator, who has not been disclosed.
