Air France has announced that it will offer an additional flight to San José in Costa Rica, as of October 20, increasing its weekly flight frequency to three on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Inaugurated on November 2, 2016, the company is increasing its seat capacity by 50 percent on this route.

Flights will be operated by Boeing 777-300 equipped with 468 seats, including 14 in Business, 32 in Premium Economy and 422 in Economy class.

The outbound flight from Paris-Charles de Gaulle will depart at 13:25 and arrive at San José Juan Santamaría international airport at 17:55 the same day. The return flight from San José will depart at 20:15 and arrive at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 13:30 the following day. All flight times are local.

Air France this year is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Since March 31, 1996, Air France has been constantly investing and capitalizing on Paris-Charles de Gaulle’s assets to improve its operational performance. Close to 6,500 Air France staff assist 100,000 customers every day. There are 25,000 connecting opportunities available every week.

Also, Air France was recently awarded first prize for Customer Relations in the transport sector for the second year running at the 13th edition of the Customer Relations BearingPoint – Kantar TNS awards. The prize recognized the efforts made by Air France teams to improve the customer experience and make a difference with their caring attitude towards customers.

This award is in addition to other awards that Air France has recently received, notably last year’s Spirit of Service award from the French Customer Relations Association.
