According to recent studies, 80 percent of restaurants and cafes that open in Greece, close only after three years due to a lack of a proper business plan and strategy.

“Food management is an important factor for the prosperity and sustainability of restaurants and cafes and our company has developed a set of tailor-made services that include staff training and new concept development to boost a business’ competitiveness,” the company’s CEO, Elizabeth Kouta, said.

“Butterfly Stories is the first company engaging in management for catering and focuses on providing consulting on all the services a restaurant would need right from the beginning: from the mere idea, to the business plan, to the perfect menu, to the marketing plan.”

During the exhibition, Kouta presented a workshop on “Restaurant Strategy and Branding” that attracted an audience of over 50 participants from all of Greece. She revealed ways in which restaurants and cafes can approach more target groups without losing their identity and stressed the importance of educating the staff (baristas, waiters and managers) in order to offer the best experience to customers. She also elaborated on the new trend of “Tasty” and how it can be utilized to attract the new target group of “Millennials”.

“The participation of Butterfly Stories in the Food Expo 2017 has been a very useful experience. Through the feedback, the meetings and the networking with companies and entrepreneurs, we can work to provide more to the collaborating businesses while constantly developing our tools and innovative services with the trends of the modern market,” Kouta added.
