Greek graduates from Switzerland’s Glion Institute of Higher Education and Les Roches Global Hospitality Education met up during an alumni event held at Athens’ Hotel Grande Bretagne last week.
Graduates from Athens, Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Rhodes, Kos, Crete, Corfu, Trikala as well as from Paris, Maldives and Switzerland had the chance to catch up with old friends, share memories and exchange business experiences.
Professor Dimitris Diamantis (MBA program), Avgoustinos Souridis (career & placement counselor, Les Roches) and Egidio Marcato (head of alumni relations, Glion) welcomed the guests at the event, which was organized by Suzanne Kaloudi-Ebener (educational counselor, Glion and Les Roches in Greece) and Lydia Vafiadakis (Glion alumni Greece).
Ranked by TNS Global Survey as one of the top three hospitality school for an international career, both Glion Institute and Les Roches maintain alumni chapters across the globe, making up an alumni community of over 32,000 members.
Moreover, it should be noted that Glion Institute and Les Roches students and graduates work for a number of global and local hospitality brands such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, St Regis Hotels and Grecotel, to name a few.
Meanwhile, committed to the promotion of Greece as a leading tourist destination and to best practices which will ensure repeat travelers as well as positive returns for entrepreneurs, the Greek Travel Pages (GTP) offered graduates and current students insight into the latest travel and tourism issues.
