Greece to Star in ‘1st Mediterranean Panorama’ Expo in Sweden

Greece will be promoted as a leading Mediterranean destination in a new exhibition aiming to become the largest and most dynamic tourism event in Scandinavia.

Focusing on tourism, gastronomy and culture, the 1st Mediterranean Panorama exhibition will take place at Stockholm’s Stockholmsmässan exhibition center in Sweden on March 17-19.

The exhibition will give visitors the chance to meet representatives of Mediterranean countries, regions, hotels and travel agencies and take part in a series of events and happenings promoting the partcipating destinations and their offerings.

Greece will be represented in the 1st Mediterranean Panorama by a number of regions — including Crete, the Peloponnese, South Aegean, Central Macedonia, Thessaly, Central Greece and Epirus — and municipalities such as Hersonissos, Kos, Platania, Kefalonia and Samos.

The expo will also see the participation of a number of Greek hotels while visitors at the expo will also be informed on villas available for rent in Greece and Cyprus.

The national tourist boards of a number of Mediterranean destinations are among the exhibitors, including those of Italy, Croatia, Cyprus (including Agia Napa – Protaras), Tunisia, Morocco, Israel, Malta, Bulgaria and Montenegro.

The 1st Mediterranean Panorama will run under the support of leading tour operators/experts in the Scandinavian market, including TUI, Apollo, Ving, Airtours, Solresor, Detur and Jambo Tours – Tema.

Organized by tourism consultants North Events, the Mediterranean Panorama has emerged from the popular Grekland Panorama, which has attracted more than 11,000 visitors in Sweden in the last three years.

The 1st Mediterranean Panorama still has space available. Those interested in exhibiting should contact North Events on tel. +30 210 9713281, e-mail: info@north-e.com or press here.
