Emirates Announces Special Fares for Athens-New York Route

Emirates is celebrating its new and highly anticipated year round daily flight from Athens to New York with special fares. Emirates’ Dubai-Athens-Newark flight starts on March 12.

According to an announcement, Emirates special fares for Economy Class will start at 499 euros for tickets booked by February 20 for travel between March 12 – May 31 and November 1 – December 10. Business Class fares will start at 2.150 euros for travel between March 12 – December 10.

The new flight will complement the existing four daily Emirates flights between Dubai and New York’s JFK airport and constitutes the only year-round, non-stop daily service between Greece and the United States — a service that does not exist today and has not existed since 2012.

Emirates flight EK209 will depart Dubai at 10:50 local time, arriving in Athens at 14:25 before departing again at 16:40 and arriving into Newark at 22:00 on the same day. The return flight EK210 will depart Newark at 23:45 local time, arriving in Athens the next day at 15:05. EK210 will depart once again from Athens at 17:10 bound for Dubai where it will arrive at 23:50, facilitating convenient onward connections to over 50 Emirates destinations in India, the Far East and Australia.

The new Dubai-Athens-Newark route will be served by Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
