Thessaloniki’s TIF-Helexpo Teams Up with China Fair Organizer

Greece’s national exhibition body TIF-Helexpo has joined forces with Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Management. The cooperation followed the visit of TIF-Helexpo President Tasos Tzikas to China’s Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) in November.

Tzikas and the general director of Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Management, Li Yuliang, signed a memorandum of cooperation which will include the exchange of expertise between the two bodies, the participation in events organized by either entity and the establishment of a working group which will explore ways to secure closer cooperation between TIF-Helexpo and the Chinese exhibition organizer.

Other priorities include hosting a technology expo in Thessaloniki, as well as the Chinese group’s participation in next year’s Thessaloniki International Trade Fair featuring China as the honored country.

“This partnership is a great opportunity for TIF-Helexpo, which has been actively broadening the scope of international alliances, to expand to  international markets,” said Tzikas.
