Greek Parliament Passes New Civil Aviation Authority Bill
The Greek Parliament on Thursday approved a draft bill that brings changes to the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority.
According to the voting results, 156 lawmakers supported the bill, 79 voted against it and 17 voted “present”.
The bill of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks includes the restructure of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority and also establishes a civil aviation agency that will act as an overseer and deal with regulatory issues.
The approval of the bill was a prior action connected to Greece’s next loan tranche of 2.8 billion euros.
