Europe Congress Wraps Up Successful MeetingPlanners Russia 2016 MICE Event

Hosted buyers and solution providers as well as leading event planners had the chance to meet, share ideas, propose solutions to challenges and establish long lasting relations during the fourth MeetingPlanners Russia 2016 MICE B2B forum held at the Renaissance Moscow Monarch Hotel, in early September.

The event was held by Europe Congress, a company that specialises in organising top quality B2B forums and workshops for face-to-face meetings.

MeetingPlanners Russia focused this year on Russia’s growing outbound market and on world destinations opening up to its great potential. The forum brought together some of the top event planners from Russia & CIS with service providers who showcased their services and brought a bit of their own country to Moscow. Some of the destinations present this year at the MeetingPlanners Russia event included Austria, Spain, Korea, Israel, France, Cyprus, Cuba, Singapore, the Dominican Republic, Hungary, Thailand, Armenia and Latvia.

Destinations, with a growing interest in hosting Russian MICE events, were be represented by hotels, DMCs and convention bureaus.

“This year we slightly adapted the format of our event with our hosted buyers being seated at their own desks where they welcomed and met destinations and solution providers. It added convenience and productivity to the prescheduled B2B meetings, an innovation which participants appreciated greatly,” said CEO Europe Congress Alain Pallas.
