Air France–KLM Group Appoints Yiorgos Zermas as Sales Manager in Greece and Cyprus

The Air France-KLM Group on Thursday announced the expanded scope of responsibilities of Yiorgos Zermas as Sales Manager heading the Sales, Marketing and the Exclusive Marine Desk activities for Greece and Cyprus, effective September 1.

Active in the airline industry since 1981, Yiorgos started his career with Ethiopian Airlines and joined Delta Air Lines in 1995.

In September 2009, under the capacity of Sales Manager for Delta in Greece and in line with the North Atlantic JV cooperation between Air France-KLM and Delta, he was seconded to the Air France KLM Group in Athens. As of April 1, 2010, Yiorgos joined the Air France KLM Group in the same position.

He is married and a father of two children.

The Air France KLM Group represents Delta and Transavia in both Greece & Cyprus. The group operates 28 flights per week from Athens to Paris (CDG) and 14 flights per week from Athens to Amsterdam.

Delta Airlines operates 14 flights per week from Athens to New York (JFK) and Transavia operates 7 flights per week from Thessaloniki to Amsterdam and 7 flights per week from Athens to Amsterdam.
