Greek Hotels See High Level Of Guest Satisfaction In June

SANTORINI_49_OiaHotels in Greece are keeping their customers very satisfied as demonstrated by the high guest satisfaction index for June 2016 compared to the corresponding index for the country’s rival destinations.

According to ReviewPro’s Global Review Index (GRI) released by the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) recently, overall satisfaction for accommodation in Greece in June came to 86.5 percent, while the corresponding index for rival destinations was found to be at a rate of 82.3 percent on average.

ReviewPro’s GRI also found that individual indicators for price-quality, service, room, food and cleanliness have been moving at higher rates in Greece in recent months.

Meanwhile, Greek destinations also took the lead against competing destinations abroad, with the Cyclades island complex recording the highest score.

Santorini and Mykonos recorded the high percentages of 89.4 percent and 89.2 percent, respectively, in the index of guest satisfaction during the June 2016 period. Meanwhile, according to the corresponding index of Greece’s main competitors, St Tropez and Ibiza recorded percentages of 84.9 percent and 83.3 percent, respectively.

A leader in guest intelligence solutions for the hospitality industry, ReviewPro last year analyzed data from 1,126 Greek hotels of various categories and in different regions and 2,504 hotels in 16 destinations in France, Italy, Spain, Croatia, Cyprus and Turkey.

The 2015 index was formed from the feedback of 280,291 customers in Greek hotels and 1,094,807 customers in accommodation units located in rival destinations.
