Blue Air Launches New Athens Flights to Turin and Constanta

BlueAir_B-737-800Romanian airline Blue Air on Tuesday launched new flights to both Turin and Constanta from Athens International Airport (AIA).

The new flights to both destinations will operate two times weekly, every Tuesday and Saturday, via Boeing 737 aircraft.

“We are very pleased to strengthen our presence in the Greek market with the two new routes of Athens-Turin / Athens-Constanta”, Tudor Constantinescu, Chief Commercial Officer of Blue Air, said.

The new Athens-Constanta flight will depart from Athens at 10:00 and arrive in Constanta at 11:30. On the return leg, the flight will leave Constanta at 12:15 noon and arrive in Athens at 13:45. All times are local.

The Athens-Turin flight will depart from the Greek capital at 18:00 and arrive in Turin at 19:40. The return flight will depart from Turin at 13:30 and arrive in Athens at 17:10.

“We welcome the new routes of Blue Air with great pleasure… Blue Air is a highly dynamic and flexible company, which is developing rapidly in the Athens market, flies to many destinations and offers excellent connections in both new European destinations and cities of Romania”, AIA’s director of Communications & Marketing, Ioanna Papadopoulou, said.

Blue Air has also increased frequencies on the Athens-Larnaca and Thessaloniki-Larnaca routes for the summer period.
